Steer sponsors London Walking & Cycling Conference webinar series

Against a backdrop of a rapidly changing landscape for transportation, this year's London Walking and Cycling Conference will take place as a webinar series with the first webinar starting on 22 October 2020.

Steer is delighted to be sponsoring the conference, organised in partnership with City of London Corporation and Hackney Council. Formerly the ‘Hackney Cycling Conference’, this event has become a fixture in the calendar of professionals, campaigners, and elected members eager to explore new ideas around active travel modes.

There has never been a more pertinent time to discuss the role of walking and cycling in our lives as the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown has highlighted the importance of active travel for work, leisure and health.

The webinar series will explore themes surrounding inequalities in mobility and accessible cities, implementing successful emergency measures, communicating with the public about emergency measures, as well as other interesting research, analysis, and case studies.
