Katerina Espinoza has worked for more than 20 years as a transport consultant, on a wide variety of projects for the public and private sector, many of which have been under her successful management. She is currently the infrastructure market leader for Chile, a market in which she has extensive experience.
Katerina has developed demand and revenue forecasting models for toll roads in several countries, as well as sophisticated revenue forecasting models for public transport (railways, metro, buses). In the private sector, she has carried out due diligence on financial models, both in their demand and investment and operating cost components for projects such as metro lines in Brazil, ports in Peru and highways in Peru and Chile, among others.
Katerina has analysed the COVID-19 impact and generated medium and long term scenarios for passenger, private vehicle and freight demand projections. In addition to her technical role supporting in any of her areas of expertise, Katerina has an operational role, assigning workload to staff in the Chile office, as well as inter-office.
